It’s been many years since the series finale of The Office aired on NBC, but with the show making its’ debut on Peacock, they’ve started to release a treasure trove of content. Not just the show in its’ original form, as had been on DVD and Netflix for a long time. That’s there too. They’ve also released tons of extras, the digital shorts, and they’ve gone back into the editing room to put together much longer versions episodes they’re calling “Superfan Episodes,” which will seemingly only be available to subscribers who pay for Peacock Premium. I guess I won’t be seeing them anytime soon. Season 3 is available now, with more to come.
But what does any of this have to do with The Matrix? Well, they filmed a pretty fun cold-open for the show. It takes place during the time after Dwight took on the job of Regional Manager toward the end of the series.
